As
the group's lead singer, Don has been singing since he was twelve
years old. Most recently with his family, The DeFoors. Many
years ago while singing with his sister and brother in law, the
Pastor shouted "can you sing without him?". He meant
the song Without Him, but poor ole Donnie thought his career was
over at an early age. Before re-entering the field of full time
evangelism in March, 2007, Don spent over seventeen years as
Senior Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Godley, TX. His
smooth, solid voice gives a detailed presence to the trio's
sound.
Cliff
Graves
Cliff,
Don's nephew, is the trio's baritone. He has been using his
talent in Church from a very early age. He began singing with his
parents, The Graves Family, at the age of six. As a teenager, he
sang with The Bethel Boys, an awesome young trio that were as
tight, or tighter than some men twice their age. From there he
spent seven years with a local group named, KingsRiver. Now, by
the providence of God, his rich, warm vocals, and his dimples, are
working in concert with The Grace Boys.
Jay
Miller
Jay sings the tenor
part, and is likewise no stranger to the stage. He has been singing
since the age of five. He grew up singing with his family, The
Miller Family, in the Springfield, Missouri area. Jay and his
family have shared the stage with many noted groups such as, The
Happy Goodmans, The Florida Boys, Gary McSpadden, and The
Imperials. He has been singing in the North Texas area for the
past 6 years with some local groups. Jay's powerful, multi-octave
voice polishes off the trio's pure, tight, harmony. He feels very
blessed to have the support of his family in doing what he loves
best.... singing Gospel Music.
The LORD
was ready to save me; therefore we will sing my songs to the
stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the
LORD.
